Howdy again,
BE doesnt value education as much as experience, but, I think BE would pay more for someone with an MBA and real-world SAP experience.
Entry level, out of college folks are getting more than $40k, in some areas $45-50k as entry-level Management Analysts (MAs). With experience of a specific toolset like SAP, I'd say you could come in as a Senior MA (SMA), ranging from $50-55k. If your skill-set is really in demand, getting brought in as a Consultant-level might not be out of possibility.
BE's financials and outlook seem gloomy to most...However, at the working-staff level it has never affected me nor my immediate coworkers. Listen to the all-hands conference calls and then call your broker is my advice :-)
If you are interested in joining the firm, your best bet is always a personal contact. Without that, as you notice, you will probably get lost in the corporate HR process.
With SAP APO exp you would benefit most from a direct contact with a Managing Director (MD) in that line of work. We have a fair amount of SC work in logistics with the military, and a few larger SCM commercial projects. If you are interested, reply with your email addy and I will get back with you on where to send your resume.
Best of luck,
