Got fed up with the attitudes and the way people worked there. I'm moving to the competition. It's not much more money, but I think it'll be best for me there. The person that interviewed me actually told me that BE made me a big disservice by bringing me in as an SMA, and I was just made Consultant on this round of promotions after almost two years. In contrast, a guy that was hired last February and has been on only one project (I've been on six) doing only one thing made Senior Consultant. I was insulted.
Not looking back. Also the stock sucks. |

I was never told that being stuck in a project for more than six months was good. What I found out was that it experience and professionalism didn't matter much. I wanted to cooperate on an internal documentation effort and I sent an email to an SM (or MD?) and I haven't heard from him yet. And this was back in October.
I don't know if I'm jumping out of the frying pan into the fire, but I'm going to go...with the Tiger.
