One other question, conversely I also was told that if you're hired at this level (Snr Mgr) at BP you career is really about selling, not delivery, proj management, staff development etc and even if you are highly deployable to client projects, with little or no sales you risk termination. Is that accurate? Is there a "magic #" for sales to be considered successful on a financial services team? |

Partially true, partially false...their are metrics at the Sr Mgr level for both project delivery and sales.
Metrics:
Manager - $1MM net fees managed, $1MM sales target
Sr Manager - $2MM net fees managed, $2-3MM sales target
One final hint - "BP" stands for British Petroleum..."BE" is BearingPoint.
