I am being hired as an MA with approx 55K.
I want to know what kind of work does an MA do?
How long would it take to become a consultant ?
Also how is the content management team at bearing point. |

What is your background and location? 55K for an MA is great... I got hired in as an MA four years ago at 38K... even two levels above, I'm only making about 10K more than you.. wow, it really might be time to start looking.
MAs do everything we're too busy to do... meeting setup/logistics, powerpoint presentations, etc. Sooner or later, as you do the easy stuff well, you'll get more and more responsibilities. Just be patient, and dont complain too much (or at all, ideally)
