Did you just make that whole "writing class" comment up or did you read it somewhere else on vault?
I am quite capable of writing here or anywhere else for that matter. However, just like the other guy who made that very same comment, you seem to be just a jealous that I may possess a stronger ability to express myself, wehether it's the frustration factor or otherwise.
Case and Point: Unless you can point out a specific area where "I need help in writing", I highly recommend you refrain from making flaming comments like that.
And for everyone else reading this, you will only know so much if you haven't seen the prejudiced crap I've taken while working for this firm. It isn't just related to "the Ineptitude of the previous management" as H You likes to put it.
Heck, I've had discussions with my MD, PM and RM on this topic. Unfortunately for the moment, my MD and PM are one and the same person. Therefore, I cannot see how this person will be doing anything in my favor even despite his knowledge of my work ethic, both first hand and otherwise.
Yes, I am quite upset! Yes, I am frustrated! and Yes, I'll take the first better offer that comes my way and jump ship from BE. However (and fortunately), their is a flip side to this whole picture. Ladies and Gentlemen reading this, if BE is willing to match my needs, I will be willing to reconsider any and all postings here that I have placed with any adverse comments vs. BE. and if you should ask why? It's because I have some friends here who I've enjoyed working with. Thus, I'd rather see that working relationship last longer. Everything between BE and myself isn't only about the money but rather the money is the one part that BE is short changing me on rather big time. I've even approached HR w.r.t. this topic and yes, they do agree with my stance on the matter. They even offered to talk on my behalf to my MD about this but good old generous me stopped them from doing that? Why? Because my MD has requested I give him a fair shot during this whole Reward$ process, which I am halfheartedly willing to do. (It's Half heartedly because I have heard that many a times from previous PMs but it has never materialized.) My MD has stated that as a discretionary move, they could write a Business Case to Sr. Management above him to justify the need for the raise and let that play out its course.
There are a couple of options left to venture through. In the end though, I need the result I am looking for or else they'll leave me no choice! |

If you are really sick and tired of BE, move on mate.
Fact is despite all the bitching and moaning, you know there are not many gigs out there for you.
Go out in the market and see for yourself...
