I have a few questions:-
1) What do candidates say in interviews at Bearingpoint if they were previously laid off from another Big 5 company ? I have worked earlier for another big 5 consulting firm , but for 5 months only.
2) Does BE recruit folks who have worked earlier for very short periods with big 5 firms?
3) Does this give an impression that you were not good enough at the earlier firm ,and hence laid off ?
4) Should I say I was laid off or should I say I resigned at will |

Many people are laid off from BE due to the natural course of business, so this won't be new or shocking. I myself was laid off from BE. How my also-laid-off MD advised me to phrase it while I was looking for another job was "I was part of a company wide effort to cut costs". 'nuff said. BTW - 6 weeks after I was laid off from BE, they called me to come back in the same role after realizing their mistake :)
