I'd like to present my impressions of BE -- It's a much better place that most complainers here will have you believe. Can you find equally talented people at other consulting companies? Sure, I'm quite certain you could. But is BE as bad as the complainers here say it is? Absolutely not.
After having met many colleagues from around the world in training sessions and gatherings, I can honestly say that we have a very well educated and highly talented workforce that I'm proud to work with.
The issues we've had can be traced to a problematic IPO and the first few years as a public company. Sure, the previous management should have done better, but I think the real measure of the company is the quality of the current management and the hard steps being taken to rectify those initial problems.
As a multi-billion dollar company, BE is not going anywhere. Just as any other company in the consulting world, BE has a high turnover, which was perhaps exacerbated by the problems the firm has had recently. However, that high turnover has returned to normal levels in the industry, and we continue to have well qualified colleagues to work with.
I love the company, and would encourage others who are thinking of joining to do apply. I think you'll like the environment.
Oh, and please ignore the incessant complainers. They would complain no matter where they were. |
