I am interviewing with BE soon for SMA. I have 4.5 yrs of exp at a leading consulting company. What does it take to move from SMA to consultant? Anything I can prove at the interview?

4.5 years should get you consultant. If you present well, sell yourself well, and have solid technical skills you could be looking at Senior Consultant, depending if the MD you interview with has a sure-fit need for you.
