I was able to channel with the deceased Andre the Giant last night. He said not to quit, you will be receiving a 15% raise and a promotion during your mid-year review.

Who the heck is this deceased "Andre the Giant" you speak of? (No offense but is he a 21st century reincarnation of someone with the initials HY?) I've been here 2 years with nothing to show for it. What makes you think that will change in 6 months when jack hasn't happened in 2 years? I am currently looking and get that 15-20% raise you talk about now than in 6 months down the line. I have exhibited a ship load of patience for this and it's about time this happens now!!! I am sick of these hurry up and wait games....wait for what? Life's too short to put up with this crap!
I am kind of at a point here where I'll employ my famous 0 rules.
1. 0 multiplied out by any number is in itself zero.
2. 0% of any number >= 0 = 0
3. Appreciation factor from BE: 0 in the past, 0 at present and 0 down the line into the future.
And as far as company wide raises that have been issued so far, if you think all I'm worth to this firm is 3% over the next two years (1.5% in Jan 2006 and the remainder in Jan 2007), you've gotta be kidding me then! I work wayy too damn hard like the rest of BE does to be worth just that much.
