Anyone know why they terminated General Counsel lead or did we all ignore that email. 1 day after the 10k was filed? Feel free to exaggerate for the sake of online humor :) |

This is the inside scoop concerning the termination of the Executive Vice President General Counsel David Black.
David Black grew up next door to Piet Klynveld, the founder of the accounting firm Klynveld Kraayenhoff and Company (the ??K?? from KPMG).
David was hired by KPMG Consulting in 2000, prior to BearingPoint going public, based on his relationship to the Klynveld family. David was kept on due to unforeseen restatement issues. Once the restatement was complete he was terminated for violating the company's code of conduct policy.
