These aren't guidelines these are fixed quotas. it starts at the top and then goes to the BUs who then distribute then to the segments on down to the MDs. Yes, if an MD group does stellar they may get a few more in their ratings allocation, but they have to come from some other lower perfroming MD group within the Sector/Segment/BU. THis includes having to give a MS/NM to someone within each practice. |

Maybe someone can fill me on who exactly looks at these and how they affect us? I've recieved EEs and MEs in my time here, and the raises were still crappy (5 and 3%, to be specific)
Can someone explain why there are "quotas" (esp. if they dont ax the bottom 10% or so) and how they *should* relate to promo/raise?
PS- I recieved an EE for this most recent cycle as well... I'm not going to lie, I'm just waiting until the new (crappy?) raise kicks in so I can put a higher number on job applications... enough is enough... I've been bent over for three years. How much can we take?
