I started working at BE almost a year ago after working 2 years for a competitor. I am a SMA, working in PS, on an engagement, in the DC area, and making $48K. I got an ME on my review (I was told not to expect more in the first year). Am I getting screwed?! I'm seeing posts from MAs getting offers in the mid-50s on this board. If I manage to not get a raise this round and find out I'm underpaid, I'm thinking of leave at 1.5 years. Would you? |

You will always find this is true. BE mgt is not there to help your career, they're there to get the most work out of you at the lowest possible cost. If you'lll work hard for $10k less than the person next to you, all the better for BE. Control your destiny and get everything you can from the market.
