Currently Consultant being promoted to Sr. Consultant. I have 12 years experience (8 in consulting), and and MBA. I am currently making $73k, what should I expect at next level? |

2) A shrug
3) The line, "We aint's got no funds"
Go independent buddy! More cash, less BS!
12 years EXP and you're not a manager yet? PLEASE, get the hell out of there. What are you waiting for?
In my office I saw this punk kid get promoted to manager within 3 years of being there. He got hired right out of school.
If you have some good marketable skills (let say you're a data warehousing guru) you can EASILY ask for $100 an hour if you go independent. Thats four grand a week!
Don't you feel cheated that you've been working your balls off and they are just making you a Sr. Consultant now?
