For men,stay away from black suits. Wearing a black suit to an interview may leave non-verbal messages that may not be intended. Psychologists say that black suits gives the impression of being powerful, dominant, aggressive. Your goal as an interview is to be part of the gang, not the leader. My recommendation, go with the pinstripe and spare yourself the trouble
For women it is perfectly acceptable to wear black. they have other appearance issues to worry about.
