With every risk there is reward. Exactly! At present you are paid enough to compensate the risk of staying. If the company makes it, do not expect to be rewarded ?? if it does not, well this is your life... |

So whats the bigger risk? Leaving or staying? That's up to the individual.
Leaving is harder and much more uncomfortable.
Staying is easier and doesn't require any effort.
Some of the people that have replyed to this post have allready validated the points I've made.
Lets look at it this way. If you are truely miserable, (likely as morale is through the tolit) why would you continue to be miserable on the chance that things will turn around. If you take the initative, make the change, move on, then things will be better. Additonally it will be done on your terms.
If BE does turn around it wont matter as you have moved on. Additionally, you wont be miserable during the time it's taken for BE to get their act together.
From someone that has left, I can ohnestly say, it's the best thing I've done. If anything my friends (that are still at BE) have said it has gotten WORSE. Me on the other hand? I got my shoes off and I'm walking through the daisies on some nice green grass.
Bottom line BE and to a greater extent working for a big consulting firm is not the be-all end-all of careers. Lots of choices out there. What do you want to do?
