I did not take anything Harry said personally because I knew he was not talking to me. I never have an issue entering my T&E on time and if there are people out there that have such a hard time doing so, they need to be talked down to like that. I think those who the message was intended for may have felt insulted but those of us who are compliant really just blew it off as an effort to get the slackers to follow policy. |

Discipline and consistent enforcement are important for any company to be successful. Harry is blaming the line staff becasue his new accounting team has convinced him that it's not F&A's fault its late TimeNx, etc. The issue is fundamental. F&A designed the rules OneGlobe operates under. They saw no need for a project cost system, only a GL. They failed to document and keep our accounting policies current. They can't complete their work and therefore we can't file. They are all receiving large renention bonuses. We get blamed for the mess. Discipline and consistent enforcement is the key. We're not getting that.
