People are moving on for lots of different reasons ..its not a wholesale walkout ..there are still many opportunities here for those that want to get some runs on the board .. each IT consultancy has its own problems and retention issues ..its not just a BE issue.
Most people are coming in with their eyes open as to the contraints and challenges for BE ...so they tend to get on with it and ignore the speculative / chicken little side of things ..if shit happens it happens .. we all move on and upwards regardless of the company we work for. |

Come on 35% is not the average at all. It's not like back in the late 90's when everyone was jupming into better gigs.
As for the Chicken Little comment, the sky is actually falling at BE. The atmostphere there is poison and people are just sick of it.
There's a point to cut your losses. Blind faith in the firm will not make it turn around. People can only perservere for so long, then it becomes too much.
But there's no point going on about this as most of the loyal will remain so. Until of course they get so beaten by the BE culture that they will wake up.
Happend to me.
