Topic Name: FY05 Attrition Nearly Hit 35%
Message Name: What's going on in Europe?
Date Posted: 01/04/2006
In Reply To: As publicly disclosed in October the attrition was over 25% at that point. The fourth quarter should have brought them to about 35%. Just looking for inputs from folks as to why they would still want to join this firm, or stay?
Message: Anyone got a clue about what is going on at EMEA? Was Swiss practice shut down? Did BE try to sale Spain on various occasions and found no one interested in a company that looses what it makes? Is France not doing any better and loosing most business opportunities rapidly? Is it true most MDs, Sr.Mgrs, Mgrs have been fired? And most experienced Consultants and Sr. Consultants have also left or been fired and BE is only able to keep the few new hires under the spell? Germany and Nordics seem to be doing better? Do EMEA misfortunes and operations play an important role in the financial mess? Time to cut more rotten branches?
