I am not sure if I am going to be able to afford living in NYC, paying rent, school loans, and other bills on their salary. If someone can give me a ballpark figure about the ave bonus at the end of the year for 1st year employee it would help me with my calculations. Thanks |

Yeah I signed with prime. So I think the way everything will work out by years end : we have are base of 60K bonus of 5K and then I think our year end will be somewhere between 5 - 15 k. I think we might be able to push our base salaries up by working overtime. My friend signed with goldman at 55k and 10 signing about a year ago in sales and trading (comparable to us). With overtime his base salary went up to almost 69K. Hopefully, Bear does something similar. You should check with the HR people, let me know what they say. Does anyone know what Equity people got as a signing bonus? I know fast analysts got 10k...
