In Reply To: I will start my MBA studies this fall and will be looking for an internship for the summer of 2005. BMW is my dream company to work for for many years. Does anyone have any experiences applying for an internship with them in Marketing/Sales/International Business or Strategy areas? What kind of applicants are they looking for? Is it necessary to speak German when doing an internship in the US? Any information on these topics would be highly appreciated. It would be even greater if I could speak with someone in person (my e-mail is ar293@georgetown.edu).
Message: Hi Arturas, German is not required when working for BMW NA. Depending on your responsibilities, however, it might be useful. For sales within the US, it wouldn't be as useful, I would imagine, as if you were working for marketing, where there would be a higher degree of input from Munich.
