In Reply To: the following is highly editorialized and should be taken as such. I'm not sure giving you specifics w/ regards to that particular group is going to help you much. You can check out a list of representative transactions on their website. Expect 6-10 interviews. Two or three of those interviewers will ask technical questions - valuation techniques {comps(historical or current), leverage buyout, DCF }, why banking?, why bofa? Know how to outline a single step income statement. Know your DCF model and the variables within. The above may not apply if your a liberal arts student, but if you have an accounting/finance backround, expect some technical questions. Main tip: brevity is key. Be extremely brief in all your responses. You've heard of an elevator speech? Its a personal statement in thiry seconds or less. All your responses should be brief. You may not think this gives you adequate time to fully describe your experiences or accomplisments, but trust me, be brief. You'll will be asked to elaborate if the interviewer is interested further. Walk me thru your resume? 30 second response ...why bofa? 30 secs...Think bullet points, not lengthy descriptive language. That's all I got...good luck
Message: i come from a liberal arts background and have the superday (for sophomores) coming up. what should i expect? i thought they said that the interview would last 1 hour..did they mean multiple 1 hour interviews? any more tips on what i should do? thanks so much!
