(A: Yes) Q: I graduated last May and my parents have decided I finally need to move out and get a job; have I missed the Bain recruiting deadline? (A: Yes) Q: Can somebody review my resume? (A: Ask your friends and school career office.) Q: I have 2 (or 20) years of business experience and want to become a consultant; is an MBA really necessary? (A: Yes, if you want to work at M/B/B.) Q: What happened to 8498563? (A: He is still among us in spirit.)

(A: No. Background checks are required) Q: Is cover letter important? (A: Yes. Don't confuse Bain Cap with Bain) Q: I am Part-time/weekend/internet/EMBA from a top school. Do I have a chance at M/B/B? (A: Very small chance but do apply). Q: How much do entry-level (MBA) mgnt consultants make? (A: ~5-10K above the starting median salary at top MBA schools. (A: Resume screening of 5-10% (top 25 schools) to 20-25% (top 5 schools) and 2 or 3 rounds of interviews. Each round has passage rate of 30% - 50%). For example, assuming 2 rounds of interviews with resume screening of 20%, your chances are, 20% x 40% x 40% = 3%) Q: How competitive for analysts offers? III: Polish your Impact/Leadership/Interpersonal examples. Know why consulting and how it fits in to your career/life/interests. Be confident and show positive energy during interviews.)
