this guy (noorm) just wanted an opinion about Germany. So I told him what I think, since I was in the same situation about a year ago...
but I have to admit that I probably would have chosen Bain (or parthenon) if I had started working in the US (what I thought about for quite some time)...
In the case of Germany I just felt bcg was the better choice... the "why" is what i tried to explain.
I didn't want to diss bain or anything...

Bain recently adopted a growth oriented strategy for Germany. They are aggressively pursuing top talent..bought out some senior McK partners and are paying significantly above what McK/BCG are paying for new hires since a couple of months.
