I remember reading that he has passed away--is this true? I've missed his great postings. |

Although Mr. Zweibel is rumored to have published a column in his family's news-paper on 4 January 2006 (titled "I Miss My Old Sled"), he indeed suffered an un-fortunate passing a few months ago.
After making his name in the news-paper business in the late 1800s, Zweibel blasted off from earth in a rocket-ship in his 120th year on Earth. The rocket-ship was under-fueled, and it came to rest on the roof of a building on Dart-mouth Street in Boston. Zweibel dis-embarked and sought employment at the first firm he encountered in that building, where he was hired because of his connections to the Rockefeller, Reagan, and Van der Bilt families. Zweibel's force-ful writing skills more than made-up for his lack of coherence.
Being faced with the firm's up-or-out policy, Zweibel declared his intention to go up-and-out, by way of his rocket-ship. His man Standish prepared the ship, with adequate fuel this time, and Zweibel has not been heard from since.
