I work in IBM BCS public svc sector in DC and want to get into Mngt Consulting (Strategy i.e: Venture Capital, Private Finance) projects. I dont have an MBA but have 8yrs exp. 6 in Finance/Accounting, M&A, Business Process. I want to ideally work at a Bain, BCG or McK. What company would be a better branding leverage to get on those type of projects and work my way into Mngmt Consulting? Help!!!!(i.e: If choosing b/w ACN, BAH, DC what is a better company in the view of Bain, BCG, McK? |

your chances of making it into M/B/B ever are very very low, because of your long work experience.
And strategy consulting has nothing to do with VC or private finance(?), so some homework on your part is required.
