We are looking to enhance internal communicatins in our company. Who believes they have a model process and how does it work? |

This is not a model, as per your request, but in my company we recently implemented a particular, simple, policy that I believe has gone a long way towards improving communications.
At the end of any meeting, the person who has called the meetings asks who, not present, should be informed of the decisions made at that meeting. Meeting attendees then volunteer or are assigned to inform persons in their departments of decisions that were made.
In addition to improving communications, this policy makes others aware of the extent to which people are involved in and affected by decisions made. It gives others a clearer idea of "the big picture" when they realize how far-reaching some decisions are.
