Archstone started out with an idealistic business plan -provide strategic advice unadulterated by the prospect of big systems implementations etc...in reality Archstone delivers commodity consulting services because the firm has to cover its investment to Lake Capital and because few big firms want to trust their corporate strategy to a new firm. Unfortunately, the firm now wins projects almost completely because it is willing to do work for almost no money
