I have been trying to get a job at Amgen (like many other people) and I did not hear anything from them. Although I see couple of positions fits well to me, nothing seems to work. I don't have any conection nor phone number to call. Is there any way to check what is going on with my resume? I even sent them by mail but still no response. Thanks for any help. Besides, I am applying for biotechnology position.. Protein Science department is one of my first choice.. Thanks again.

I have had the same problem with that company. I sent my resume in 3 weeks ago and have heard nothing from them. I even called the company directly, was transferred to HR where they repeatedly reminded me that "my resume & qualifications will be reviewed against the needs of the position and an amgen representative will contact me if they require more information or would like to schedule an interview." They do not give out names/extensions of hiring managers, would not tell me how to check the status of my application or give me a timeframe in which I could expect to be contacted or should assume they're not interested.
It's very frustrating. Please let me know if you're able to achieve any success in the matter!
