These start up excuses are really losing their merit. The performance management process is slow and random. The project assignment process is a joke. I do not enjoy staying in pitiful motels and I will not tolerate five day travel policies and 80 hour weeks. What happened to adopting a similar Big Five 4-5 policy? Asking budget approval from a VP/Director is a foolish! Such processes are wasteful and crony.
They marketed Amdocs Consulting as a similar version of the Big Five. Many ex-Big Five consultants I talk to do not plan to stay with Amdocs Consulting for more than 1 year. I am asking my team to do work they should have been doing years ago. We are not doing Big Five level work and will not compete and their level. Leadership is not selling Big Five type of work and isn't telling anyone what is really going on.
I was suckered in by the money but will be crying out mutiny this time next year. |

1. If you dislike your job so much, you should obviously seek employment outside - why wait.
2. I'm sure you were hired in for a reason. Why don't you try earning your salary, step up, and do something about the current situation. Don't just whine about it...
