I'm in the same boat as you are. I am switching for Technology Consulting to Advertising. I have been preparing for this change for about 6 months now and I have to tell you, Its been a very slow and patient. After a multitude of informational interviews with folks on O&M, Y&R etc..etc, I found out that there are just two ways of getting in.. Networking..or a kick ass school. I am going thru the second route and applying for schools...but yeah..I am doing some networking too. Well, seems to me we can share our insights to help us get ourselves in ! Good Luck...
