Swap P&G for Ad Agency: How to do that? |

I want to move into a career in advertising after working in product development in P&G, after graduating as a Chem Eng MSc.
I have 3 years experience in P&G and have worked on concept development and claim support.
What are my chances to land a job in an ad agency. Which agencies would be most receptive for my background?
Strategy consultant seems best fit, are there any other functions I should consider?
Anyone experience with a similar move?
