I have 3 years of TV experience as a producer and I've been going CRAZY trying to break into PR. I've been on 11 interviews in the past year and gotten no job offers. They tell me that I need an internship or I don't have enough "media relations experience"---I am the media! I have writing samples from free lance work. Who can help me?! |

If you do have the Media experience that you say that you have...why not start up your own business...make them eat "humble pie". I'm sure you know by now the contacts within your industry and also all the ins and outs of it...why not work for yourself for a change?? Where there is a will there is a way...and don't wait for others to say "yes" because you might wait forever!
