Hey, I am a senior at Stephen F Austin University in Nacogdoches, Texas. I am a Journalism major with an emphsis in Advertising, my question is " what advice can anyone give me on how to get a job in this field? I would really like to make 30,000 out of college is that even a possiablity for a beginner in this field?

i'm not sure about the adversiting situation in TX, but here in NYC I have a friend that just started in it. All his offers were low to mid 30's.
