Thanks for the input. This will be the the last non-accounting related question I post on this board. My reasoning for persuing the CFP is basically to have a designation next to my name and when it comes time to apply for an MBA that may help out if I don't score through the roof. I currently have 1 year experience in insurance and am looking elsewhere. The Cfp program will help keep the mind fresh and probably provide some valuable knowledge. It can be used to open up some doors later on as well(open own practice). An MBA is something I will definetely persue, but it sounds from your previous post that the 2 might not go that well together. What level difficulty is the CPA, CFA, and CFP in your opinion? |

In order of difficulty, least to most difficult:
CFP, CPA, CFA
Anyway, if you are applying to a top-tier MBA program they aren't going to give a rat's @ss about any designation. Concentrate on rocking the GMAT instead.
