I am a accounting major about to graduate with about a 3.2 from a top 20 accounting university. I just learned today that the position I accepted with a firm (not big 4, other but a great offer) is being rescinded for budgetary reasons. Since November I have been enjoying my senior year since I thought I had a job. Now I'm stuck about to graduate with no job, and very few contacts, and I'm not sure if I want to do the audit thing. What other (entry-level) places can my degree take me Any advice out there? Would it look bad if I worked at IRS till I found something that I wanted to do? Thanks
