I'm a bunred out software engineer in career transition. I spent the last 8 years working at startup companies in the Boston area. After my last company went bankrupt, I returned to my home state of Indiana to consider my next move. I spent the summer and fall working on my brothers bee farm. Now it's time for me to move forward.
I've wanted to work more in business and less in engineering for some time now, so nos is as good a time as any to make my move.
I am very strong with computer hardware and software systems. I am also very detailed, as well as good at meeting deadlines.
Is accounting a reasonable career option for me? I bring very strong computer and analytical skills to the table. I'd have to go back to school to get a B.S. degree, but I am prepared to do so.
