I'm....... russian.
:)
Don't waste your time on CFA, you have to hit top MBA program.
America is very VERY institutionalized country, including Europe.
They likes titles, titles, and again those stupid titles.
In Europe and in the world companies recognize ONLY top schools.
And I do have the same ideas about working somewhere in Europe or Russian with my license and ... MBA. Plus CMA, of course.
One partner told me that CPA license is not as valuable here in America is it's .. valued abroad! :)
Fight, and again fight! Make them RECOGNIZE you.
There're only two major categories who pass CPA exams quickly (are you ready, I'm not racist though :) ): Russians and Chinese candidates.
They're the leaders.
That's it.

LOL No wonder you are so nice as we used to stand in the same front line. I am just joking.
Yeah, I am interested in TOP MBA schools as well. Is it easier to get admission as a CPA and CMA? Do you have any tips for me to get my foot in the door?
The problem would be my work experience. My former work experience are too immaterial to impress TOP MBA schoo. That is my concern. How how how?
I have talked CMA Canada. We are not affiliate with IMA but with ICMA (Institution of chartered management accountants). How is that? Have you heard of that? Some one will recognize me in US?
I am so eager to work in US to get international exposure. :(
