No for your information I am not looking for an "escort service" as you stated. I seriously requested information to readers. In case you don't know, many CPA firms are extremely conservative in most aspects. I have worked in the private sector for a few years and at least once my sexual orientation was probably the reason I was not promoted-so I moved on. Working in a CPA firm can be very exhausting especially during tax season. I simply posed my question to find out if sexual orientation would not be an issue at certain CPA firms in CT because I would like to work in an atmosphere where promotions, raises, and general attitude during working hours is based on your abilities and not on your sexual orientation.
Since you did not have a serious answer to my question, it is obvious that you didn't even understanding the question to begin with. |

I cannot even believe the trite and very uneducated answer you received to your very pertinent query. I have seen my gay friends go thru the passing over for promotions and raises because of what someone else thinks/imagines they do at home. I do agree that it is none of anyone's business as to what others do at home so lets keep that out of these decisions. The self-righteous can't quite seem to mind their own business. My friends are hard working and some of the most creative people on staff and it makes me mad when I hear that some bible thumper has slighted them.
