In one of the many articles published about the Andersen debacle, I read, "Life is uncertain for the firm's 4,700 partners. The partners had capital and their retirement benefits, but that's gone." Isn't it ironic that the partners in Andersen are sharing the same fate as the thousands of Enron employees who had their 401(k)'s invested in Enron stock?
