In Reply To: Do you honestly think the government does not know how Andersen's information is stored? Not only has Andersen the first to tell the government some information was destroyed/erased, but they have been working with the govt to find/uncover where server backups and other copies might exist to assit the investigation. Thus, I'm sure everyone appreciates your information, but I would assume the first step the govt took was to gain a detailed understanding of our information storage process. I am currently, and will continue to be, a current employee at Andersen.
Message: Honestly, I think you give the folks in Washington a little too much credit ;) As well, because the investigation is ongoing, it's possible investigators have not yet been able to trace the data back all the way to the main servers in Chicago. But thanks to helpful people like the previous poster and others, we'll all get to the bottom of this in time. May justice be served!
