i am a junior accounting major at the Goizueta Business School at Emory. I'm searching and networking like crazy for summer internships. Any advice from veterans?

Look up all the accounting firms in the area....yellow pages or white pages i guess and write a cold letter asking them if they need interns and describe your skills and goals in the letter. Suggest to work for free if you dont mind after all any work experience looks good on the resume especially if you plan to get into the BIG 5.... 2. Try your career placement office---its their job to help you in this matter. 3. contancts through family and friends.
