Hi,
A friend sent me an e-mail today regarding how the Bush tax cut will affect her family.
I seem to think that this sounds pretty much right, but I am anything but an accountant myself.
Can you all help?
"Incidentally how much do you know about this so called tax relief check?I read an article that said a married couple has to have 12,000 in TAXABLE income to collect the full $600.00 In all the years I have filed taxes that line has always been 0 -- is this right?It seems to me like you would have to make an awful lot of money to have that much taxable income."
Is she right, or has she been filling out her taxes incorrectly?
