This is the original poster. What you had to say was very valuable! You state that you are "inexperienced", but I think you're a very insightful person.
I actually accepted the M&A position even before I read your post, but my thought process in accepting the position was pretty much the same as your suggestion in your reply.
(I was also able to negotiate the salary to a higher level, so that also helped to make the decision easier).
Thank you for your response! I wish you the best of luck in college, and you should have no problem at all in your own job search (which may actually already be completed by now).

I will graduate in May with my masters and am considering tax consulting or M&A (due dilligence); therefore, I am now in the same boat as you were before. I would appreciate your comments regarding your experience in the M&A group thus far. BTW, what is the NY market for M&A? Thank you in advance for your time.
