I am a junior accounting major, in CT (a state with the 150 hour requirement) to fulfill the requirement I plan to get my MBA in public accounting with a concentration in tax. I then plan to work for a few year in the tax department in a big five firm. What are my options after that??? |

I am a CPA who spent several years in tax in public accounting. I recently changed jobs and now work for a large law firm doing tax planning in the estate planning department. The work is spread more evenly through the year and the hours are civilized. Tax planning is a great area to move into once you have a few years compliance experience.
