Starting Audit salaries vary greatly depending on what part of the country you are in. My understanding is that the SF Bay Area and NYC areas offer the highest starting salaries, which are in the low to mid $50K's. |

When I worked at PwC in Orange County (near LA, southern California), my starting salary 2 years ago was 37,500 including overtime and 3 weeks vacation. The next year it went to 40,000 and then I left when my salary was 43,000. My performance, however, was below average. I left three months ago and received a salary of about 50K after obtaining the license.
