such an eager beaver you are - i think you need to enter the profession with a healthy dose of cynicism - believe me its not all roses. glad i did it but glad its over. an attitude like you have will get you nowhere but stuck in the audit room until all hours of the night because your senior knows you will. Its a fine job but don't make it out to be something it isn't. |

So are you saying they should approach their summer internships thinking "This is going to suck, I'm going to be miserable"?
I personally was very eager to to start my internship last summer and I ended up having a lot of fun and met some great people.
It is great to be eager and excited about starting because you've spent 3-4 years learning out of text books and now you finally get to put some of it to use and learn even more.
