I have extensive work experience in sales. Is there an area of Accounting that would complement my outgoing "sales" personality and experience? Thanks for any advice. |

Don't be fooled. Accounting is not just number crunching. Outside of tax, you will have a good deal of "face time" with customers from the very start.
Also, as you climb the ranks, you need to be able to bring in clients (a sales skill).
Some CPA firms have "business development" positions that mainly work on getting new customers. However, for most, the partners take care of that side of the business.
