Simply put...have pride in yourself first and the firm second. Go to the big 4, learn, get your cpa, produce with quality and efficiency, get in good with a couple of people above you for references, but don't bend over for the firms. For 9 out of 10 of you, Big 4 isn't a career but a brand name.
BTW, It always amazes me that people will blindly work chronic late hours and weekends for a few thousand dollars in bonus money at year-end. |

BTW, It always amazes me that people will blindly work chronic late hours and weekends for the slight to non-existent possibility of a three hundred dollar spot bonus and an extry 0.04% raise at year-end.
