It has been a few years, but I interviewed and had offers from 3 of the 4, including E&Y and Deloitte.
I actually chose PwC for a few reasons, one was the fact the were well known for technology and for working with technology companies.
We actually took over the American Express engagement prior to when quite, which was a huge engagements. Based, on my limited knowledge of both firms, I would probably say Deloitte.
Reasons, culture/people, clients. Both are good choices, I just got a better feel from Deloitte and wish I had chosen them over PwC.
Technology and experience wise, both are equal given factors outside of those mentioned above. |

Thank you very much for your advice, itsnotmagic! I actually did not get an offer from E&Y in the states, so that option was out. Please see below:
The offers that I got:
- Deloitte & Touche (US)
- KPMG (US)
- All Big 4 firms (Japan)
Since I got along very well with the partner and other staff in Deloitte and that I got your advice on the firms, I am planning on taking the offer from Deloitte in the states.
