Hello,
I recently heard that BDO Seidman has had some trouble at a Florida office location and is being sued and as a result, that whole office may go away. I don't know all the specifics, or if this is even true. Does anyone have any more details about this? Would this adversely affect any other offices? Should one be cautious when considering whether to accept a new job offer from them at a different office location? |

they got sued for $521 million. the only way they continue normal operations is if the punitive damages are reduced (which is unlikely). they'll have to sell some office since the total of their liability insurance and partner equity won't cover the judgement.
